PRICING

Every offer has one clear price rule.

Some offers have a fixed target price, some are calculated or quoted, and bounded free help never masquerades as a zero-price paid product.

Frozen target examples

  • Answer review — target ₹149. A teacher reviews a submitted answer and gives detailed mark-level feedback. Checkout opens only after the release checks pass.
  • Scheduled class — target ₹899. This is the frozen catalogue target; the existing legacy booking path is not proof that the canonical offer is released.
  • Teacher Pro — subscription target ₹499. Renewal, grace, downgrade and invoice rules must be complete before it can be sold.
  • Live demo class — free bounded offer. It is a free grant, not a zero-price paid SKU.

What is calculated or quoted

Term, family, hybrid, seasonal and organisation offers do not all reduce to one public sticker price. Their canonical rule calculates a price or creates a qualified quote from the actual scope.

  • The exact amount, included scope, tax treatment and cancellation rule must be shown before approval.
  • A formula or quote is not silently replaced with an old example price.
  • A target amount is product authority, not a claim that checkout is already active.

What happens to your money

  • It is collected before class and held by TruTutor, not passed straight to the teacher.
  • It is released after the class has happened.
  • Parents can set a limit on protected spend and see every rupee of it.

TruTutor's share

  • Out of what a family pays for a delivered class, the teacher keeps 70% and TruTutor keeps 30%. That 30% is the platform share.
  • The platform share pays for payment protection, matching, safety checks and support. It is not a listing fee and it does not buy a higher place in results.
  • The family's price is shown in full before they approve it, and the teacher sees their own amount before they accept. If the share ever differs for a kind of work, it is shown on that class.

What we do not charge for

  • Creating an account, describing a problem, or comparing teachers.
  • Being found, if you are a teacher. There is no listing fee and no paid placement.

These are frozen target rules, not live-sale claims. Checkout actions remain fail-closed until tax, disclosure and observed cost gates are active and the canonical offer is bound end to end.
