HOW TRUTUTOR WORKS
Say what is actually wrong. Get a person on that.
Most tutoring starts with a subject and a schedule. TruTutor starts with the exact thing your child is stuck on, and ends with a teacher confirming whether it moved.
1. Describe the exact problem
Not "needs help with Physics". The chapter, the topic, and the thing that keeps going wrong — in your own words. That sentence is what teachers see.
- You can add a voice note or a photo of the question if it is easier than typing.
- You choose whether you want help now, this week, or regularly.
2. Compare teachers who fit it
You see teachers matched to that specific problem, with what has been verified about each of them, and why they were matched.
- If there is no good match, we say so. We do not pad the list to look busy.
- You can book a paid live demo class first — a short class before any longer commitment.
3. A parent approves, and money is held
Payment is collected before the class and held by TruTutor. It is not passed to the teacher until the class has happened.
- Where a parent is linked to the account, class requests go to them for approval before any money moves.
- Parents can see protected spend and set a limit on it.
- Teachers never see payment details or private family information.
4. The class happens in a protected room
- Online classes run in a room TruTutor sets up, so no one is exchanging personal contact details to make a class work.
- Where a teacher meets a student in person, that teacher has a dated police verification. See verification.
5. The teacher confirms what changed
After the class the teacher records what was actually covered and whether the specific problem moved. That record is what a parent reads — not a star rating.
- The record is tied to the problem you described at the start, so it can be checked rather than felt.
- It is written by the teacher, not generated. If nothing moved, that is what it says.
TruTutor is early. Teacher availability depends on the subject and the area, and we would rather show you an empty shelf than a fake one.
