Answer Review has a target price of ₹149, Scheduled Class has a target price of ₹899, Teacher Pro has a subscription target of ₹499, and a bounded Live Demo is free. Formula and quote offers show their exact scope and amount before approval. Paid checkout remains unavailable until release checks are complete.
How do you make money?
For delivered teaching, the current platform share is 30% and the teacher share is 70%. The target catalogue also includes separately disclosed subscriptions, formula offers and qualified quotes. The bounded Live Demo is a free grant. There is no fee to browse and no paid placement.
Are all teachers police-verified?
No, and we would rather say so. Every teacher is identity-verified. A dated police verification is required for anyone teaching a student in person, and they cannot be booked for an in-person class without one. Online-only teachers are identity-verified but not police-verified.
When is the teacher paid?
After the class. The money is collected before the class and held by TruTutor until it has happened.
Can my child sign up without me?
A parent and student are linked by an invitation the other side accepts. Where a parent is linked, class requests go to them for approval before any money moves, and they can set a limit on spend.
How many teachers are on TruTutor?
We are not publishing a number, because the honest one is small — we are opening now. If a marketplace tells you its size before it has one, the number is decoration.
What if there is no teacher for my problem?
You will be told that, rather than shown an unsuitable list. An empty shelf is more useful than a padded one.
Is TruTutor a counselling service?
No. It is a tutoring platform and does not provide clinical or mental-health care. Free public helplines are listed on our child safety page and are never behind a paywall.
